Overview:
The CDAU-2020 is a high speed Airborne Instrumentation
Controller with embedded DAU capability that operates at
rates up to 20 Mbps. The unit operates as a data acquisition
formatter/controller communicating and collecting data
from distributed CAIS acquisition units. Composite data is
available for recording, data archive or real-time analysis.
Subsets of data are available to support telemetry and flight
safety analysis and monitoring. The unit also contains a
complete CAIS Data Acquisition Unit (based on the CDAU-2010) resulting in a highly efficient solution for controlling a
distributed data acquisition system and acquiring a limited
number of local acquisition channels.
