Overview:
The CVC-101 is a 1-channel plug-in video/voice conditioning
card for use in TTC’s EDAU-20XX and CDAU-20XX
products. The card samples and compresses the input
video based on the customer’s desired resolution and
available data bandwidth. Voice is also compressed based
on the desired legibility, which ranges from “usable“ up
through “telephone quality.” The encoded data words are
placed into the host Encoder’s PCM output stream for
transmission and/or recording purposes. Once the data
stream is recovered, the encoded words are decommutated
and the original video/voice can be reconstructed using
TTC’s DVC-101 card.
