Overview:

The FOR-301L contains a single channel optical fiber interface for receiving packetized data. This card can be used in TTC's Airborne Instrumentation Multiplexer (AIM) and High-Speed Avionics Data Acquisition Unit (HS-AVDAU) products. The FOR-301L provides a single 400 Megabit/sec interface that is compatible with the F-22 optical data transmission system. The interface is accessible at the FOR-301L faceplate via a single fiber optic D-Subminiature receptacle. Multiple FOR-301L cards can be placed into an AIM or HS-AVDAU chassis if the optional upgraded PSM- 2004H power supply is used.
