TTC Receives AS9100B Certification (Newtown, PA Facility)
[April 30, 2007] - Teletronics Technology Corporation (TTC) has received certification to the requirements of AS9100B, "Quality Management Systems - Aerospace - Requirements" at our Newtown PA facility. AS9100B is the internationally recognized standard for quality management in the aerospace industry. We have also maintained our certification to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, "Quality Management Systems - Requirements", which we have held since May 2001.
AS9100B consists of the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 standard plus additional requirements that are common within the aerospace industry including configuration management, provisions for planning and measurement of key characteristics, material traceability, control of process nonconformities and first article inspection. Many of these new features are now available to support users of TTC's "Commercial Off The Shelf" (COTS) Products and Systems.
TTC is the world premier supplier of data acquisition systems and has previously supplied products and services to many US and International Programs including F-22, F-16, F-18E/F, EA-18G Aircraft, Bell 609 and Super Puma Helicopters, as well as UAVs and Missiles. TTC was also selected as the Instrumentation Supplier for the F-35 (JSF) Program and received the 2004 Integrated Test Force Distinguished Supplier Award. TTC is an approved supplier for the US Tri-Service Common Airborne Instrumentation System (CAIS) used on many of these programs. They were also recognized by the US Small Business Administration as Vendor of the year and are AS9100B / ISO 9001:2000 Certified at our Newtown PA facility.
