The CPM-2000 is a PC-based plug-in card used to program and checkout CAIS compatible equipment such as TTC's MCDAU/CDAU series products. The card has one standard CAIS Bus Interface, one RS-422 CAIS Repeater Port and one RS-232 serial programming port. The card can operate as a CAIS Master Controller for system test, integration, and diagnosis purposes. It can also be used to program a CAIS System Controller Unit through a built-in "CAIS Repeater Port" (RS-422 based). A serial RS-232 port is provided for setup, programming, data monitoring and system audit/configuration purposes. The card is powered from the host PC's ISA bus.
