The nREC-4000S Airborne Networked Recorder is based on TTC’s popular SMS-4000 recorder unit. The unit records data from a network-based data acquisition system. The recorder houses a data cartridge, which can record data from a network of high-speed data acquisition and multiplexing units at up to 20 megabytes/sec. The recorder has built-in intelligence enabling it to provide recorder statistics and continuous health monitoring. The unit supports Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and is configured via the network fabric.
