The OXB-102-1 is a two-channel active optical splitter that generates four optical output signals from two input signals for each channel. Each Fibre Channel receiver is capable of data rates of up to 2.125 Gbps. The OXB-102-1 requires no software configuration and has no programmable parts on board. The optical splitter chassis, model OXB-1005-1, is exclusively designed for the OXB-102-1 and can accept up to five OXB-102-1 cards. It includes a power supply (PSM-1005) and a backplane that delivers power to the OXB-102-1 cards. A fully populated chassis will accept 20 optical input signals and 40 optical output signals. The OXB-1005-1 contains no software or firmware and requires no configuration.
