The XRMM-4000 Cartridge Adaptor allows TTC's RMM-4XXX series removable solid-state drive cartridges (XXX = Size in GB) to be used in TTC's MUX-300XR series Data Multiplexers. The XRMM-4000 Cartridge Adaptor provides an IEEE-1394b compatible high-speed serial port for data communications with the MUX-300XR host chassis. Data rates of 800 Mbps are supported through this interface. The XRMM-4000 Cartridge Adaptor mounts into the custom recorder slot on the MUX-300XR chassis. Recorded data can be read by removing the RMM-4XXX cartridge from the XRMM-4000 Cartridge Adaptor and installing it into either a DTU-4500 data transfer unit or an SMS-4000 Recorder. Both these units allow downloading the mission data via a high-speed USB 2.0 interface. The optional DTU-4500 provides a Desktop version of the SMS-4000. Data download can also be accomplished in-chassis via a Fibre Channel interface when an XFCH-302E card is installed in the MUX-300XR chassis.
